Arlene Aguirre is a single parent, presently living in the United States with no family and few friends she can trust to help her care for and provide for her sons.

Arlene's dreams of seeing Carl and Clarence separated came to fruition largely in part to her strength, determination and courage. She is the catalyst to one of this decades major medical miracles yet she is unable to accept any praise for her role. Arlene unfortunately is only able to see few positive aspects in her role leading Carl and Clarence to where they are today. She is very proud of all the progress Carl and Clarence continue to make in all areas of their development.

Arlene is extremely grateful for everything that has happened and for all that she and the boys have received since coming to the United States.

She spends all of her time with the boys and even spends the time while their in school preparing for and securing all their care needs for when they return home. Arlene remains frightened, alone and focused on contemplating the uncertainties of Carl and Clarence's future thus leaving little time for herself.

One can only hope that Arlene will soon be able to obtain the support she needs and that she will soon realize that she too deserves a little TLC once in a while.
